In collaboration with The Playa Bar Bar &  Grill, we are offering a collection of "Duke Strong" T-Shirts to raise funds for Duke Bentzinger. From hot dog eating contest shirts to Independence Day themes, we've got you covered.

Duke is a 10 year old boy from Des Moines, with close connections to our organization, who has unfortunately fallen victim to a staff infection that caused lesions and swelling on his brain. So much so that they had to cut away portion of his skull and intubate him twice to allow for brain swelling. Duke has had significant high and lows, from making progress and taking pictures with a local favorite sports team....to spiraling downward again with seizures and gazing incoherently into the sky. Despite the ups and down, Duke is a virile young man and quite the fighter. We are cautiously optimistic and want to support this family as much as we can on this difficult journey.

In addition to the heartache with their son's health, they are having to stay two hours from home so that they may spend round-the-clock care with Duke. As you can imagine, medical care, food, housing and other expenses are mounting. That is the last thing this family should have to worry about.
